Mycotoxin Research is the official journal of the Society for Mycotoxin Research

The journal Mycotoxin Research was founded in 1985 by Rainer Schmidt. In 2005 it became the official journal of the Society for Mycotoxin Research. Since 2009 Mycotoxin Research is published by Springer Nature.

Mycotoxin Research is an international journal publishing research about mycotoxins, harmful compounds produced by moulds. The journal interdisciplinary covers research into all aspects of these toxins, including the ecology of mycotoxinogenic fungi, their occurrence, analytical methods, toxicology and public health aspects.

Mycotoxin Research presents original research papers and review articles, along with general information about the work of the Society for Mycotoxin Research. It is currently published in four issues per year. 

All manuscripts should be submitted via the Editorial Manager system of Springer. 

Membership to the Society for Mycotoxin Research includes a full subscription to Mycotoxin Research.
